Reclaimed Barnwood Plank

Where does our Reclaimed Barnwood Plank flooring come from? Sometime around the mid 18th century a farmer cleared an area of forest. He then logged the biggest, sturdiest oaks, hickory and maple he could find and thus a barn was raised. That barn lived an industrious existence. Cows, sheep, chickens, hay and feed storage that kept his family fed and the local economy growing. Time and weather took their toll on the structure and now it has been reclaimed and repurposed into this magnificent flooring. The marks of industry and the deep color of exposure to light for over a century can be found throughout this varied and durable floor. You will see amber yellows to warm, reddish browns to deep black colors of the remaining saw marks.

Perfect for American Homes and Businesses., this reclaimed barnwood flooring offers a rustic yet historically rich aesthetic for any interior. To preserve and highlight the natural beauty of the wood, we recommend an organic oil finish. Whether you choose a solid or engineered profile, this flooring is a stunning way to bring the past into your home while supporting sustainability and craftsmanship.
