All of our reclaimed and new flooring is kiln-dried to a precise 6–9% moisture content to ensure durability and stability, especially for interior installations across the USA. This process also sterilizes the wood to prevent unwanted pests and enhances long-term performance.
There are no established grade rules or trade associations in the reclaimed wood flooring industry. As a consumer, you have to trust your supplier to accurately produce the floor you've ordered. Woods Company’s grading specifications were developed over our many years in the industry, so we guarantee the consistent grade and quality of your floor.
All planks are hand selected for the best face, pre-surfaced, laser-ripped, milled with an offset tongue & groove for a thicker wear surface and end matched to lock the ends of the boards down. Our quality control process assures that we ship high quality products, saving you time and money on installation.
Your flooring is strapped into manageable packs, neatly stacked, and securely banded to a skid. This packaging protects your investment during shipping and simplifies handling at the job site. No matter where you are in the U.S., we ensure your flooring arrives safely and in excellent condition.
